Infant Tights

You can find infant tights in many different colors and fabrics that will be perfect for any little out fit.  Even though putting your little girl in socks or even none at all can be just as cute, in the cooler months you will want to keep her little legs warmer and there for covered up but still looking cute!  Just because its cool out does not mean that you have to dress her up in pants, sweats and other such things.  In fact, getting a couple pairs of cute infant tights that match her little dresses and skirts will look super cute and still keep her warm.  This can also mean that some of the dresses and skirts that might have gone to waste because of the weather change will not be wasted and that means that you will save money on clothing and lets face it, the little ones grow through their clothing so quickly at this age.  The infant tights will allow her to wear the cute dresses and skirts longer and that will save you money!  Here are some things to think about when your looking into buying infant tights;

Color Choices – Infant tights come in many different colors and even patterns that means that you can really mix and match the infant tights with different skirts and dresses to help get the most out of them and keep every thing looking fresh and new.  I would say that some of the base colors that you will want to be sure to pick are white and pink.  The reason is because the white infant tights will go with pretty much anything that you put her in and the pink infant tights are because so much of the infant girl clothing is pink.  Getting the infant tights in these two colors will just about ensure that you have something to go with everything but there are many other colors as well.

Fabric Choices: It’s a good idea to think about the type of fabric that the infant tights are made of before you pick them up.  Some of the infant tights that are out there are a wool blend and although that does mean that they are going to be extra warm, some children will have a bad reaction to the wool.  Not all children will have that reaction but some do.  If your considering the wool blend infant tights then what I would suggest is to get one pair and put them on her and check her skin for a reaction every hour or so, if there is no reaction then go ahead and buy more but should she have a reaction to them then take them off of her and you will know that she cant wear that type.  You will also want to make sure that the infant tights are made of a very breathable fabric and have reinforced stitching.  Keep in mind that the infant tights that are made of a thin fabric will have greater chance of getting a run in it.  You will also want to think about the climate of the area that you live in.  If you live in a warmer climate then the wool blend infant tights might not be a good idea but if you live in a colder climate then the might be.

Size Choices: Be sure to pick out infant tights that will give her plenty of room to grow.  Although you don’t really want them to be baggy but keep in mind that you want them to last a little longer than a week.  When you picking out the infant tights make sure that they are not constricting on her and that they give a little room to move and grown in.  Also, take a good look at the way that the infant tights are made.  Some of the infant tights will have a seam that goes across the toes and some that don’t.  A seam could be irritating to her skin so you will want to check them out carefully.  Not all little girls will be sensitive to a seam like that but some will.
